This 8-month-old Terrier mix is about 35 pounds, with an adorable scruffy face and soulful eyes that invite you in. She's all about companionship, always wanting to be by your side—whether it's lounging on the couch or following you around the house. Her happiest days are spent right next to you. Allison joined Louie's Legacy after being rescued from an overcrowded shelter in West Virginia. Though her past is still a mystery, she’s discovering the joy of being loved. Witnessing her confidence grow day by day is a treasure for her foster family. Like a typical puppy, Allison is still figuring things out. She's making strides with her house training and eager to please, though leashes and collars make her a bit nervous. A securely fenced yard would be ideal for her to explore, discover, and gain confidence at her own pace. Making friends is her forte! She loves her foster dog siblings, who have been great mentors in showing her the ropes of puppy play. A home with a friendly, confident dog who can match her playful spirit and help guide her would work wonders for her development. Allison is deeply affectionate and seeks strong connections with her people. She thrives on love and companionship, happiest when involved in family activities. Given her gentle nature, she's best suited for a home with older children who can help her build confidence while being mindful of her need for reassurance.
