Meet Carrot, a true cat's cat. Rescued from the streets of Bridgeport, he has found a cozy indoor life with us since March 2025. Carrot loves basking in the sun, lounging in the catio, and birdwatching, but he prefers to keep a respectful distance from humans. After a year in foster care, it’s clear that cuddling isn’t Carrot's style. We affectionately refer to him as a "Spirit Cat”—he thrives in the company of other felines and values the peace of a stable, safe home. Carrot isn't aggressive; he simply wants to exist quietly, watching the world pass by with his feline companions. He’s searching for a tranquil indoor environment with at least one friendly resident cat and access to sunny spaces or a secure catio. No barn homes for Carrot—he enjoys the comforts of indoor living and has no desire to hunt. The right adopter understands that love varies among cats; Carrot enriches life with his gentle presence.
