About Garrett

Garrett is at our adoption center in SoHo where he’s beginning to find his footing. This two-year-old male is still discovering his new surroundings, and we’re giving him the space to settle in and show his personality. From his time in foster care, we know that Garrett is quite affectionate and playful. His foster describes him as social, often following them from room to room while still confidently exploring his environment. He enjoys being near people, snuggling up beside them while they relax, and eagerly greets them with gentle rubs against their legs. Garrett shares meals with enthusiasm, particularly loving breakfast and dinner. Though he’s still warming up to other pets, Garrett has shown a great ability to coexist peacefully. He has demonstrated patience with a resident cat, showing interest in play without being overly intrusive, and has set boundaries with the dog in the home. To meet Garrett, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. No appointment is needed, and we welcome you to come by daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Come see if Garrett is the companion you’ve been looking for!
