Meet Marble Swirl! Marble Swirl is a striking brindle male with a vibrant personality. Rescued from a stairwell, he hasn't let his past experiences overshadow his spirit. From day one at ACC, Marble Swirl has been friendly, affectionate, and eager to forge new friendships. He greets everyone with a wiggly body and a cheerful smile. His ideal home would be one that welcomes him into the family. Marble Swirl enjoys quality time with people and loves neighborhood walks, learning new tricks, or simply relaxing after an adventurous day. He thrives with regular exercise, positive reinforcement, and lots of affection. Marble Swirl is the definition of a people-loving dog. He seeks affection, enjoys human interaction, and stays close during walks, checking in frequently. This smart boy is food-motivated and eager to learn; he’s already practicing cues like "touch." His excitement can lead to a few happy jumps, but that just adds to his charming, affectionate nature. This friendly lad has received a Behavior Assessment Level 2. While he enjoys meeting new folks, he may jump up in excitement, so reinforcement of calm behaviors is essential. Due to his exuberance, ACC recommends a home without very young children. He has participated in dog introductions at the shelter, so slow, thoughtful introductions to any resident pups is advisable. Marble Swirl is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, ready for a new family. He recently overcame a mild upper respiratory infection and is on the mend.
