About Kenya

Meet Kenya! This lovely six-year-old black cat has a heartwarming story. She was adopted as a playful nine-week-old through the Euclid Beach Cat Project, but now she’s back with us, seeking a new forever home. Due to changes in her family's life, Kenya, along with her housemate Milo, found herself needing a new place to stay. Her previous owners faced allergies in the household, leading to a challenging period where the two cats were confined to a single room. Despite these hardships, Kenya remains a sweet and affectionate companion. She's a larger lady who could benefit from shedding a few pounds, yet her loving nature makes her truly beautiful. Kenya would thrive in a home with older children or adults. While she can be a bit overwhelmed by new environments, she simply needs some time to adjust. With patience, she quickly becomes the warm, affectionate cat she has always been. Though she and Milo can be adopted together, they aren’t closely bonded, so she would also do well in a loving solo home. If you’re interested in meeting Kenya—or adopting her alongside Milo—please fill out our adoption application to get started. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
