Yoshi is a joyful 2-year-old, 57-pound Anatolian Shepherd and German Shepherd mix with a fluffy coat and a goofy spirit. He’s incredibly sweet and thrives on human interaction. Whether it’s playing fetch, enjoying belly rubs, or curling up for some quality cuddle time, Yoshi is always ready for fun. His absolute favorites include tennis balls, squeaky toys, treats, and good chew bones. Potty trained and crate trained, Yoshi knows several commands such as sit, down, and even hug. He walks well on a leash with a little guidance and is an affectionate companion who loves to be close to his humans. Yoshi would do best in a home that understands his needs. While he gets along with some dogs, he has had challenges living with another male dog, so a home as an only pet or with a compatible female dog would suit him best after a proper introduction. He prefers to enjoy his meals and favorite chews in peace. Yoshi isn’t a fan of cats, and car rides can make him anxious. A patient family that allows him the time to adjust will help him build confidence. He hasn’t interacted much with young children, so a home with older kids who respect his boundaries would be ideal. Yoshi is looking for a loving home where he can flourish and return that love tenfold. Yoshi can be adopted locally or out of state, with all safe transport arrangements coordinated.
