About Buddy
Buddy is an adorable 8-year-old Miniature Poodle who weighs 21 pounds and has a soft, curly coat in a creamy white color. Unfortunately, after losing his second owner, Buddy found himself needing a new home due to circumstances beyond his control. Despite the changes in his life, he has remained a loving companion. While Buddy enjoys being around people more than dogs, he has gotten along well with our other Poodles by simply ignoring them. He’s an independent spirit, yet when he wants affection, he eagerly seeks out attention, hugs, and kisses. After settling into his new surroundings, Buddy now enjoys jumping on the couch or snuggling in bed, reminiscent of his previous life. Buddy loves his walks and car rides, and he’s house trained, having had no accidents since arriving with us. He connects well with both men and women and thoroughly enjoys visits from our grandchildren who take him out for walks. It’s important for Buddy to find a home where he can be the only dog, preferably with someone who has prior Poodle experience. This gentle boy is looking for a forever home that understands his needs. While a fenced yard would be great, he's excellent on a leash, and he should not have to share his space with big or aggressive dogs, or young kids. Buddy has been vet-checked, is healthy, and up to date on his vaccinations. He has so much love to give and deserves a family that will cherish him.
