Born on April 2, 2026, Jefferson was rescued from the commercial pet trade and is a bundle of energy and curiosity. This playful little guy thrives on adventure, spending his days engaged in activities like chase, tug-of-war, and exploring all the fun toys available. His intelligence shines as he quickly figures out puzzles and games, even showing a knack for sticking his head into a squirrel puzzle searching for treats! Jefferson is very affectionate and enjoys the company of people, including toddlers and teenagers. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and loves to cuddle after an exciting play session, often snoring like a big dog while dozing off. Though he's still working on his potty training and basic manners, he is highly food motivated and picks up commands quickly. An active family dedicated to training and providing a stimulating environment would be ideal for him. Visiting families with another playful dog can help keep Jefferson happy and engaged.
