About Koopa

Meet Koopa, a young male Labrador Retriever searching for a foster or forever home! He arrived at the Riverside shelter in dire condition and was on the brink of being euthanized before we stepped in to save him. Koopa has fluid in his abdomen that needs to be treated, and while he is currently hospitalized for diagnosis, we are optimistic about his recovery. Despite his challenges, Koopa has shown himself to be friendly and sociable. Shelter staff noted his wagging tail and willingness to engage, which gives us hope for his sweet temperament. As we await more information on his health, we are eager to find a loving home for Koopa once he is stabilized. He's great with both dogs and children, making him an excellent companion for families. If you're interested in providing Koopa a loving home, please complete an adoption application with Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group. Every animal deserves a happy ending.
