About Luca
Meet Luca! This young Jindo mix has quite the story. Abandoned by his owner, he spent three long months living in a parking lot, waiting for someone who never returned. Local residents knew him well, as he would eagerly approach anyone walking their dogs, hoping for a chance to play. Thankfully, a rescue stepped in to save him from a dangerous fate. Having recently completed heartworm treatment and neuter surgery, Luca is ready to find his forever home. He can be a touch reserved upon first meeting new people, but quickly warms up and enjoys affection. While he’s naturally cautious on walks in unfamiliar places, he grows in confidence as he explores his surroundings. With an instinctive prey drive, he may chase after small animals, so attentive handling is essential. His sensitive nature allows him to respond well to gentle encouragement and positive training methods. This affectionate boy gets along well with children and dogs, making him a wonderful companion.
