About Gretel

Gretel was rescued from a home in Mexico where she lived on a rooftop with barely any access to food or water. Once a concerned neighbor alerted authorities, she found her way to safety. Now approximately two years old, she’s currently fostered in Mexico and will make her journey to the United States upon adoption. This young Dachshund mix is playful and ready for action. She enjoys jumping on couches to stare out windows and loves running and playing with other dogs. Gretel is also a gentle lap dog, cherishing cuddles just as much as playtime. She gets along beautifully with children and other dogs, making her a great fit for a loving family home. Gretel needs a secure and spacious yard where she can run freely while remaining safe from escape. Most importantly, she deserves a family that will treat her as a true member of the household, offering the love and stability she craves. Her adoption fee covers her transportation from Mexico, vetting, heartworm test, microchip, and all necessary paperwork for travel. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
