Rowan is an 11-week-old German Shepherd Dog mix puppy ready to start his journey with a loving family. This playful and affectionate little guy loves all the usual puppy activities like exploring, playing with toys, and taking cozy naps as he discovers the world one paw at a time. He needs a family that understands the importance of patience, guidance, and positive training for young pups. In return, he promises unconditional love and years of loyal companionship. At this vital stage of learning and development, Rowan is prepared to safely explore parks, pet-friendly stores, and other environments after his third round of puppy vaccinations in just a few weeks. Early socialization will help him build confidence and learn how to interact with new people and dogs. Rowan was rescued with his four siblings and mother from a Houston shelter where they faced euthanasia due to space constraints. Now he’s ready for his forever home. He is fully vetted for his age; his neuter surgery is pending and will be completed when he reaches 12 weeks, following the rescue's veterinary protocol. Rowan will have all necessary vaccinations and care before traveling. His adoption fee of $850 includes veterinary care, a health certificate for out-of-state travel, and transport arrangements are available to bring him to you.
