About Pie

Meet Pie, a stunning 65-pound German Shepherd and Husky mix with a heart as captivating as her looks. One of the first things you’ll notice is her striking heterochromia, with one eye a different color than the other, making her truly unforgettable. Pie’s story took a turn when she was surrendered shortly after having a litter of puppies, which have all found loving homes. Now, it's Pie's time to soak up the love and attention she deserves. She’s settled in well with her foster family, getting along nicely with their five resident dogs and even playing with cats. If you have feline friends, they’ll need to be comfortable with a friendly and playful pup. Affectionate and kind, Pie forms strong bonds with her humans. Her foster describes her as sweet and loving. She already knows her name (Nikki), responds to commands like "come" and "stop," and is both crate and potty trained. While she enjoys relaxing, she still has her playful moments and may jump up in excitement when she sees you. Given her weight, a family with children older than 5 years would be ideal as she continues to learn her manners. Pie will thrive in a home that values training, structure, and warmth. She’ll need guidance to continue learning polite greetings and good behavior, but she shows great potential for improvement. All dogs at Boxers & Buddies are spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped before adoption. The process involves a brief application, interview, and home check. If you rent, please have your rental agreement ready to show pets are allowed. Additionally, all dogs must undergo professional obedience training as part of our adoption agreement.
