About Poppy

Poppy is a lively 1-year-old female Domestic Shorthair looking for her forever home at the Santa Barbara Humane. She came to us from an overcrowded shelter and is excited to find a family of her own. With a penchant for unlimited snacks and warm laps, she thrives on companionship. Poppy loves soaking up the sun and is happiest when she’s close to her humans. Like many cats, she may take a bit of time to adjust to a new space. But with some patience and love, she'll charm her way into your heart. Poppy would do best in an indoor-only home where she can enjoy scratching posts and toys while being well-fed. Before going home, Poppy will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adopters receive a complimentary post-adoption health exam and a supply of Hill's Science Diet food to make those first few days easier. If you're ready to add Poppy to your family, stop by during adoption hours—daily from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Wednesdays. Poppy can’t wait to meet you and show off her sweet personality.
