About Pebbles
Meet Pebbles, also known as Piggy! This resilient little survivor is eager to find her forever family. At around 6 months old, Pebbles is a Boston Terrier and American Pit Bull Terrier mix, weighing in at approximately 20 pounds. Currently in foster care with Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance, she seeks a loving home in the DFW area. Pebbles has a heartfelt story of survival. Found abandoned in a local park and sent to a shelter, she entered care battling severe Demodex mange, skin infections, ticks, and a painful sunburn. She seemed so weak that her future was uncertain. Thanks to generous donations and a supportive rescue community, she received the care she needed and is now on the road to recovery, her beautiful fur growing back quickly. This sweet girl is excited for her next chapter. Pebbles is friendly with other dogs, gets along well with cats, and adores children. She's a true people-lover who enjoys car rides, is crate trained, and shows great progress in potty training when on a regular routine. Still embracing her inner puppy, she is playful and can be a bit vocal during playtime with her dog friends, so a home with another friendly dog would suit her well. Pebbles has a spay appointment scheduled for the third week of August and is currently available for pre-adoption.
