About Wonder
Wonder is a sweet senior Pit Bull mix who was found abandoned on a back road. Despite efforts to locate an owner, he was never claimed, but his spirit remains unbroken. Now thriving in foster care, Wonder truly embodies his name. Though he is blind, it hasn't dimmed his enthusiasm for life. Every day, he wakes up eager to embrace the world around him, with a tail that seems to wag non-stop. He's energetic and brings a joyful energy that’s simply contagious. He requires daily eye medication, which he takes like a well-mannered gentleman, seamlessly incorporating it into his routine. In his foster home, he's demonstrated how adaptable and loving he can be. He settles in beautifully, showing that he’s an easy dog to love. Wonder is a fantastic companion. He gets along with dogs, cats, and children, along with anyone he meets. All he desires is to be included, cherished, and part of a family. Due to his age, he will not be neutered, as there are risks associated with anesthesia. He does tend to mark indoors, but he wears belly bands comfortably, which makes it manageable. Thanks to the kindness of a sponsor, Wonder's adoption fee has been waived. This allows his future family to focus on what’s really important: providing this lovely boy with the retirement home he deserves.
