About Sam
Sam is one of the lucky dogs rescued by Big Dog Ranch. He, along with others, was saved from a dire situation in North Alabama where the conditions were overwhelming. After a long and dedicated effort to secure the dogs, they now find themselves safe and getting the care they need at Big Dog Ranch. Sam is a large, three-and-a-half-year-old male with a warm yellow coat. He's adjusting to his new environment and learning to trust again. This gentle soul is friendly with other dogs and enjoys the simple things—like cuddles and affection from the staff. He’s also gaining confidence walking on a leash, something that many of these dogs are experiencing for the first time. With the right home, Sam has so much love to give.
