About Rookie WORKING CAT

Rookie isn’t looking for a lap to curl up in. He's one of three siblings, alongside Stryker and Dusty, seeking a safe space to simply be themselves. Rescued as feral kittens from the Arlington EMS Operations Center in 2025, they initially lived indoors, enjoying the comfort of warm beds and good food. Despite all efforts, they never adapted to becoming companion pets. These three have shown that some cats are just not meant for traditional pet life. Instead, they are a bonded trio that will only be adopted together, destined for a working-cat home. They are healthy, vaccinated, and neuteured, ready for a secure environment that suits their needs. Ideal homes include barns, ranches, farms, warehouses, or shops, where they can thrive safely. While they don’t crave human affection like lap cats, they deserve a loving, lifelong home that offers food, shelter, and proper veterinary care. Rookie, Stryker, and Dusty are not available for release or TNR. They need a permanent and managed working-cat home where they can be cared for and valued. If you can provide the forever home they're waiting for, please reach out!
