Casey is the kind of dog who makes it easy to fall in love. This beautiful 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback was surrendered when her family felt they no longer had the time to care for her. Now, she is searching for the forever home every dog deserves, where she can truly be part of the family. Described by her previous family as playful, loving, and affectionate, Casey is happiest when spending time with her people. She enjoys walks, trips to the dog park, and plenty of attention. Already housebroken and crate trained, she knows commands like sit, stay, and go. Her food motivation makes continued training rewarding and enjoyable. Since arriving at the shelter, Casey has impressed everyone with her sweet and gentle nature. Although she can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly, revealing her affectionate side. Cuddles and pets make her happy, and she’s generous with kisses. Once comfortable, her playful side shines through, completed with an adorable goofy run that brings smiles. Casey is generally calm and walks fairly well on a leash, though her curious nose occasionally leads her to new scents. To help her stay focused during walks, a harness might be beneficial.
