About Fitz
Meet Fitz, the sweet girl that captures hearts instantly! At about 4-5 years old, this Heinz 57 mutt has a charming, sugar face that reflects her gentle spirit. Weighing in at a perfect 44 lbs, Fitz is a medium-sized pup ready to fit into just about any home. Fitz has gone through a board and train program, making her a very good girl. She gets excited when she sees new faces, but aside from that, she’s a mellow companion who enjoys lounging around. She thrives in a home where she can relax on the furniture alongside her family. Good news for families with other pets! Fitz is dog friendly, cat friendly, and loves people of all ages. She is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash, though she hasn’t learned to use a dog door yet. An absolute sweetheart, Fitz loves to swim in the pool—so a home with a pool would be perfect for her! She remains calm and unreactive, even during thunderstorms or fireworks. Fitz is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative—all set for her forever home! She's currently at Camp FSDA in Parrish, Florida, with an adoption fee of $300.
