About Lexi

Lexi is back in foster care, ready to find the right forever home. Unfortunately, her previous owners couldn't keep up with her energy, but that just means she’s hoping for an active family who can provide the structure she thrives on. This beautiful German Shepherd is smart, loyal, and eager to learn, and she is best suited for a single-pet household without other dogs or cats. Lexi is currently enrolled in our Foster-to-Train Program where she's honing her manners and basic commands like sit, down, and stay. She walks wonderfully on a prong collar and enjoys daily long walks and playtime, displaying her playfulness and intelligence. While she’s crate-trained and house trained, she prefers to be near her people instead of creating mischief. Her ideal adopters will be experienced, active individuals or couples who appreciate what it means to have a driven shepherd. Lexi embodies the essence of a dedicated canine companion, ready to bond deeply with her people. She’s not just looking for any home; she’s searching for her person. Let’s help Lexi find that special someone soon! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
