Wishbone is a 5-year-old male terrier mix, medium-sized and sporting a beautiful white and cream with red coat. He is house trained and has been altered. This affectionate companion lives in Austin, TX and is ready to find a loving home.

Meet Wishbone! The PBS kids show likely inspired the name of this handsome guy! Wishbone is a fabulous terrier mix, full of energy and ready for adventure. He’s clever, though a bit stubborn at times, and loves to put his sniffer to work. You’ll often find him rolling joyfully in the grass. Once he’s tired, he transforms into a champion snuggler. Although he needs some work on his leash manners due to his strength and eagerness at the start of walks, he settles down nicely after about ten minutes. Wishbone does well with other dogs, but he prefers a calm companion and unfortunately cannot live with small dogs or cats due to his prey drive. He has so much love to give and has been waiting for his own family. Can you help make his wish come true? Adoption fees are $300 locally in Texas, or $550 for out-of-state adoptions, including transportation to your area.
