Mira is an adult female German Shepherd Dog weighing around large size. She is house trained and vaccinated, making her a great fit for a family. While she has special needs due to her diabetes and near blindness, she is full of love and joy. Currently in Stagecoach, NV, Mira is looking for someone who can provide her with the attention and care she deserves.

About Mira

Mira has had a tough start but is showing incredible resilience. Rescued from the Central Valley, she arrived emaciated and with diabetes, landing her on the euthanasia list. Luckily, a caring volunteer stepped in, and she is now thriving in foster care with the treatments she needs. Almost totally blind, Mira navigates her surroundings with courage and relies on her human companions for guidance. She’s a friendly dog who loves attention and gets along well with other dogs. While she is still learning to be around cats, Mira does well with children and has a gentle demeanor. This affectionate dog believes she’s a lap dog and will make a devoted companion for a loving home willing to support her special needs.
