About Bean

Meet Bean. Some stories begin with hardship, but Bean's journey is just starting to brighten. She spent her earliest days struggling alongside her sister near a furniture factory in Puerto Rico, without a cozy bed, toys, or a family to nurture her—just a desire for someone to notice. Now safe in rescue, Bean is ready to leave that past behind and find her forever home. At 4 months old and expected to reach 40–45 pounds, this sweet Black Lab mix is on the lookout for a patient family. Her personality shines as she is sweet, gentle, and a true treat enthusiast. Curiosity fuels her, and she’s learning to walk on a leash, improving every day. While a bit shy with new people, once she trusts you, she returns love and puppy kisses wholeheartedly. Bean is eager for a loving environment that helps her build confidence and shows her the world isn’t so scary. She’s endured enough, and now she just wants to embrace puppy life. Could you be the happy ending Bean has been waiting for?
