About Lucky

Lucky found his way to safety after being discovered in front of a gas station near a local tribal reservation. This young boy, estimated to be around 18 months old, weighs about 19 pounds and looks like a charming mix of beagle and either Irish or English setter. His coat, a striking reddish-brown with hints of black, glimmers like a lucky penny depending on the light. Gentle and quiet, Lucky enjoys being near people, often curling up on laps or snuggling on the sofa. He gets along well with other dogs and is perfectly fine with cats. While he initially struggled with leash walking after his time at the shelter, he’s made noticeable progress and is starting to play with his foster siblings, indicating he’s settling in nicely. Lucky likely thrives in a calmer, lower-activity home where someone can be present. He has been neutered and is house trained. Though he has not yet received all his vaccinations, he’s ready for a loving home. If Lucky sounds like the right fit for you, reach out to Eva at 916-803-4935 or norcalbeagles@gmail.com.
