About Ghost Sponsored by River

Ghost is a pit bull-Dalmatian mix, a sweet soul with plenty of love to give. At first, she may come across as a bit shy, but once she trusts you, her playful personality shines through. Ghost prefers to have her space respected until she feels comfortable enough to get close. She tends to mirror the emotions of those around her, making it best for her to be an only dog or share her home with a calm companion. Life in the shelter can be overwhelming for her, which makes it difficult to express just how cuddly and affectionate she truly is. That's why her caregivers are open to a foster-to-adopt situation, allowing Ghost to decompress in a less chaotic environment where her loving nature can thrive. Ghost isn’t suited for apartment living; a home with a fenced backyard would be ideal for this energetic girl to enjoy her zoomies and feel secure. She would do best in an adult-only home or with older, calm children (12 and up) who can appreciate her spirited charm. With time, patience, and understanding, Ghost promises to be a devoted and loving companion. If you think you're the right fit for Ghost, the shelter's open Monday through Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Get ready to welcome her into your life!
