About Barb

Meet Barb, a charming little lady eager to find her forever home. She was rescued from a high-intake shelter in South Carolina and quickly placed into a loving foster environment. Her foster family reports that Barb has settled in wonderfully with them, including their four kids aged 8 to 14, and their two-year-old hound. Barb is doing excellent with house training and crate training, and she walks nicely on a leash. Treats and toys make her tail wag, and she thrives on being a shadow to her canine companion, picking up doggy manners along the way. Friendly and playful, she enjoys walks and gets along with everyone she meets, making her an ideal candidate for almost any family. If you’re thinking about adopting a sweet pup like Barb, be sure to fill out an adoption questionnaire. The adoption process operates on a first-come, best-match basis, and we encourage everyone interested in her to meet her in person with all household members present. If you find she’s the right fit, same-day adoptions are highly encouraged!
