Meet Vickie, a charming 18-month-old long-haired small dog mix, possibly a blend of Shetland Sheepdog and German Shepherd. Weighing in at about 23 pounds, she’s a bright spirit who was found as a stray in Memphis along with her brothers, Charles and Victor. While the trio shared a kennel, Vickie stood out for her outgoing personality, vocalizing her desire for freedom and attention. Their rescue organization brought them into a loving foster home to decompress together. Vickie’s affectionate nature has shone through as she quickly became a wonderful companion. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and is described as extremely attentive. Currently house trained to use a doggie door, she may require a bit of patience while adjusting to a new environment. A fenced yard would be great for her to frolic around, but it's not a strict requirement. Vickie is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Although she previously tested positive for heartworms, she has completed her treatment and is ready to start a happy and healthy life.
