About Toast

Meet Toast, a wonderfully chill cat who embodies comfort just like a warm piece of buttered toast. This big guy is all about relaxation and enjoyment, perfectly content to lounge on a cozy fleece blanket for hours. At around 2 years old and 15 lbs, he’s a handsome companion eager to snuggle and purr while soaking up all the attention he can get. Toast has had positive interactions with cats, and while he has only encountered dogs once, it went well. He does has FIV, which means introductions with FIV-negative cats should be slow and monitored. Despite this, he’s been incredibly healthy and could enjoy a long, happy life. We ideally prefer he goes to a home where he can be the only feline star or with other FIV+ cats. If you're considering adopting a special needs cat, this is your chance! We also have another lovely FIV+ cat, Grey Bro, available for adoption. Black cats often get overlooked, so meeting Toast could change everything as he has so much love to give—even to strangers.
