Thankfully, he was discovered by a Good Samaritan who rushed him to Yaqui Animal Rescue. There, veterinary diagnostics revealed a fractured pelvis and a heartworm infection. Pinto bravely underwent surgery to fix his pelvis and began treatment for heartworm disease, along with pain management and rehabilitation. Now, Pinto is walking on his own, showcasing his remarkable resilience and determination. His loving, intelligent nature and friendly demeanor have touched the hearts of everyone who meets him.
