Rescued from a feral colony north of Grand Rapids known for its fluffy cats, Murray has medium-length, incredibly soft fur. After being socialized, he’s now in foster care, eager for a loving home. Though initially shy, Murray is gradually gaining confidence. Quick movements may startle him, but he’s learning to relax and enjoys gentle pets that send him into a purring bliss. He leans against his foster mom while receiving belly rubs and is discovering the joys of play, batting around cloth mice and chasing balls through his tunnel. With a friendly kitten companion, the two are getting along well, sharing their space and learning from each other. Murray will thrive with patience and dedication. His youthful curiosity drives him to approach his foster mom, especially when he expects something tasty. A strong food motivation helps you earn his trust along with playful interactions. To ensure he’s happy, Murray should be adopted either with another kitten or into a home with a playful cat. For the safety of young kittens and children, he can’t be in households with kids under six years old. With an approved application, a meet-and-greet can be arranged at his foster home.
