About Beetle FIV+
Meet Beetle! Born around early 2025, he appeared on his foster’s doorstep needing urgent help. Limping and refusing to put weight on his front left leg, it soon became clear that his condition was serious. After treating several wounds that had turned into abscesses, the vet determined he had to have his leg amputated. Now a tripod, Beetle doesn’t let anything slow him down. Beetle is FIV+, which means he has a weaker immune system and should live exclusively indoors. Despite his condition, cats with FIV can still enjoy long and fulfilling lives. Once he started to recover, his vibrant personality shone through. He’s playful and incredibly affectionate, charming everyone he meets at the vet. When happy or wanting attention, he talks, and he loves leaning into pets. His favorites include treats, his little lamb toy, heating pads, and, of course, love and attention. After everything he’s been through, Beetle remains sweet and trusting, just waiting for a family to call his own. He’s fully vetted and has excellent litter manners.
