About Zuzu
Zuzu is a sweet 6-month-old puppy and a blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, recently spayed and fully vetted. With her adorable floppy ears and gradually growing confidence, she’s blossoming into a playful and affectionate companion. When she first arrived in foster care, Zuzu was quite scared, but she has made remarkable strides in adjusting to the world around her. Zuzu is dog friendly and would do best with a confident, social canine companion to help her navigate new experiences. She seeks reassurance from other dogs and relies on them to continue building her confidence in various environments. She’s also cat friendly, having coexisted well with cats during her stays with them, so proper introductions will ensure a smooth transition. Older, patient children would be ideal for her; loud noises and chaos can be overwhelming for Zuzu. She’s still learning about house training, which may come with a few accidents, but she’s already spending quiet nights in her crate and can stay up to five hours there during the day. Training Zuzu is enjoyable since she loves treats. She’s curious and playful, so it’s a good idea to keep your belongings safe from her explorations. Though she’s improving daily, unfamiliar situations can be tough for her. With time, patience, and support, she recovers quickly and continues to grow.
