About Trixie

Meet Trixie, the happiest little Cocker Spaniel you'll ever meet! Trixie's life didn't start out easy. She came from a troubling hoarding situation where she was used to produce litter after litter of puppies. Yet, despite everything she's endured, this sweet girl has retained her joy, curiosity, and an absolutely hilarious personality. Trixie is blind and heartworm positive, but don’t mention that to her. In Trixie’s eyes, she’s just a normal dog here to have a blast! She zips around the yard with confidence, and recently discovered that kiddie pools are the best thing ever. After playfully splashing around, she made a triumphant, soaking-wet return to the house, as if she had just won an Olympic medal. When adopted, Pitt Friends will provide one year of slow-kill heartworm medication to continue her treatment. Although Trixie can be a bit nervous in bustling adoption events, she truly flourishes in a home. It’s where her mischievous, affectionate, and lovable clown side shines. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day and remind you that joy doesn’t rely on perfect circumstances, Trixie is your girl. She may not see the world, but she absolutely knows how to enjoy it. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
