About Sam

Sam came to us from a shelter in Kentucky where he was picked up as a stray and never claimed. With his striking merle markings and one blue eye, he is truly a unique dog. Although he is on the smaller side, Sam's personality shines through. Since he’s around one year old, he will need a patient home that understands he requires time to adjust to new faces and environments. He is a little wary of being chased or grabbed, making him a better fit for homes without small children. Once he feels secure, he blossoms, seeking affection and companionship. While he resides with other dogs in his foster home, he's more interested in bonding with people. Sam is fully updated with veterinary care, including his neuter. He’s ready to learn what it means to be a beloved family member. His adoption fee is waived, making him accessible to those ready to provide him a loving home.
