About Tucker

Tucker is an incredible boy who embodies loyalty, affection, and a playful spirit. This curious and intelligent one-year-old Basenji mix, weighing about 70 pounds, is truly a gentle giant. He loves to explore and would be the perfect companion for long walks and adventures. Ideally, Tucker needs an experienced, committed handler who can provide structure, consistency, and daily exercise. He prefers to be the only pet in a child-free home or one with kids over 10 years old, as his high energy and playful nature benefit from a level of understanding and attention. Currently, Tucker is still working on his house training, so his new family should approach this with patience and dedication. Tucker's journey began in the woods of Fouke, Arkansas, where he was found abandoned with his parents, emerging as the sole survivor of his litter. His resilience and strength shine through in his bright personality. Now fostered in Texas, he is ready to find his forever family. If you can provide Tucker with the love and structure he craves, he will reward you with a lifetime of devotion, laughter, and endless love. Are you the one he's been waiting for?
