About Corky
Corky is a lovable, neutered male Pit Bull Terrier who will turn 4 in May. His journey started when he was abandoned at city hall in northeast Texas back in June 2022. Adopted alongside his sister by a newly married couple that summer, Corky quickly became a star for his knack for learning commands. Unfortunately, after the couple's divorce, they could no longer provide a home, and both pups were returned to the foster care system. Corky has a cheerful personality and a charming corkscrew tail that certainly matches his name. While he's taken to his foster mom and adores human attention, it's crucial to note that he needs to be the only dog in the household. Corky is very animal reactive and does not get along with other pets, besides his sister. His ideal home would be one with a fenced yard and no small children. Though Corky has shown no aggression toward humans, he thrives in a structured environment where he can enjoy walks with his harness (though dog parks might not be the best fit).
