About Copernicus
Meet Copernicus, a fluffy senior dog looking for a comfy couch to retire on. This charming boy likely has some border collie in him. He lost his home after his owner passed unexpectedly, so his journey to find a new family takes a little understanding. At around 10 years old, he’s house and crate trained, and fully up to date on his shots. Copernicus thrives in a quiet environment and would prefer a home without small children. He can get along with some dogs given the right introductions, and he’s been fine around cats, as long as they’re comfortable with dogs. This smart fellow knows commands like sit, lay down, and come, and he loves a good belly rub—twice a day is ideal! If you think you could be the right fit for him, reach out to set up a meeting.
