Meet Butch, a remarkable little kitty with a heart of gold and a strong will to thrive! At about 13 months old and weighing 9 lbs, he has a stunning gray tabby coat and an adorable crooked smile. His beautiful green eyes and charming whiskers are sure to steal your heart. Butch has quite the rescue story. Found as a stray, he captured the attention of a good Samaritan who posted about him online. Just as a rescue volunteer was scrolling through, she noticed Butch and his unique features, prompting his rescue journey. Initially treated for a cut lip, Butch faced further challenges when he tested positive for FIP. Thanks to the support from fans on Facebook, funding was raised for his treatment, and he has since tested negative for the virus. However, he is positive for Feline Leukemia, which means he can thrive in a home as an only cat or with another feline leukemia positive buddy. Butch is playful, affectionate, and loves the outdoors — especially enjoying his time in the Catio, where he can soak up the sun and watch birds and squirrels. He’s a great communicator, often meowing to express his needs or simply to say, 'I love you.' Familiarity with FIP and Feline Leukemia is essential for his future adopter, as he seeks a loving home where he can flourish.
