About Oreo

Meet Oreo! This charming little guy came to us from our Community Cats program and is just beginning his journey into a more domestic life. Born outside, Oreo has had limited human interaction, so he’s going to need some time to adjust to his new home. Be prepared for a gradual transition. You'll likely notice he may seek hiding spots as he acclimates, so consider confining him to a safe crate for a bit. This will help him feel more secure while he learns about his new surroundings. Over time, as he gets used to the sounds and smells of your home, his confidence will grow. It’s also a good idea to engage with him through regular, gentle handling—perhaps by pairing yummy wet food with some petting. If you have a friendly cat, they could help Oreo feel more comfortable during this adjustment. Oreo is already spayed and up to date on all his vaccinations, ready to leap into a cozy home. He’s located at the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Want to change his life? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
