Essex is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas, and he's eager to find his forever home! This adorable Cockapoo mix is about 5 years old and weighs around 10 lbs. With his playful nature, he loves to amuse himself with toys and enjoys racing around the yard. Essex gets along well with dogs, but he would thrive best as an only pet or with just one other laid-back companion. He walks well on a leash and is mostly house trained, though he can be a bit mischievous at times and might mark other dogs' beds. An experienced owner would be ideal for this spirited, alpha little dog. His coat, which was previously matted, is starting to fill out nicely after being shaved down. Please note, we do not adopt to families with children under 8 years old.
