About Rosie
Meet Rosie. Rosie is an 8-month-old, 65-pound Great Pyrenees mix filled with love and a playful spirit. This beautiful girl has a gentle heart but may be a bit timid when first meeting new people. With a little warmth and kindness, she quickly transforms into an incredibly affectionate companion. Once she feels safe, Rosie loves to cuddle and soak up affection from her favorite humans. She thrives with other dogs and would do wonderfully in a home with a confident canine companion who can help her gain confidence. Having another dog by her side encourages Rosie to embrace her playful side. Speaking of playtime, this girl is obsessed with toys! Present her with a basket of toys, and she'll be in absolute bliss. When playtime winds down, you'll often find her snoozing in the cutest upside-down positions or cuddled up next to you. Rosie is crate trained, though it's not her favorite hangout. Luckily, she’s non-destructive and does well when left out of the crate when appropriate. Though she hasn’t interacted with children in her current foster home, her gentle nature makes her a good match for older kids who understand that a shy dog needs time to warm up. Rosie is looking for a loving family that sees past her initial shyness. With a dog friend, some toys, and lots of love, she’s sure to flourish into the loyal, loving companion she is destined to be.
