Sophie is a sweet, easygoing hound mix looking for a loving home. This young lady is incredibly friendly and welcomes every new face she meets. Whether she's playing with her canine pals or spending time with humans, Sophie gives her heart wholeheartedly. Her manners are impressive. She interacts smoothly with other dogs and has shown little interest in livestock, happily coexisting with goats and chickens. After just a short time in foster care, she has proven her loyalty, staying close on walks and always checking in. She's an excellent listener and loves being around her people. Sophie is on track to being fully house-trained and goes potty on leash when prompted. She’s been a delight in her foster home, without any destructive behaviors. Mornings are best for her playtime, but she’s just as content to relax beside you during the day. As a medium-sized dog, she’s versatile enough for various lifestyles—adventures, road trips, or quiet apartments. Sophie would thrive in a home with another playful dog or someone who’s around often. Love and companionship are all she asks for. She’s ready for her forever home and to give you endless affection. Bonus: Sophie has a close friendship with another dog, Cindy.
