About Rainy

Rainy came to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Mississippi. She might look a bit grumpy in her photo, but that's just her natural expression! This charming lady is actually quite sweet and craves human attention. Once she bonds with her special person, she might just turn into the perfect lap cat. Though she’s over 5 years old, she still has a playful streak and loves engaging with toys, especially the popular Cat Dancer wire toy. While her history with other cats is unclear, she remains calm when observing them in neighboring kennels. Rainy is patiently waiting for her forever home. Come meet her and see for yourself! Ready to meet Rainy? Stop by the New Hampshire SPCA during open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., daily except Wednesdays (closed). This summer, enjoy extended hours until 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays! Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org.
