Meet Reef! Reef is the last little beach baby still waiting for his forever family, and it’s hard to understand why he hasn't been scooped up. This adorable Australian Shepherd mix puppy is now 10 weeks old and weighs about 10 pounds. With his soft, fluffy coat and his sweet eyes, he is ready to find a family to call his own. His mom is a lovely 40-pound Australian Shepherd mix, while his dad is a 15-pound long-haired Chihuahua mix. Mixed breeds often surprise us, but we expect Reef will mature to a wonderful 25 to 40 pounds, making him a great medium-sized companion for adventures. Reef embodies everything a puppy should be—playful, outgoing, affectionate, and social. Raised in a lively home with kids, he thrives on the excitement and absolutely loves being around them. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys making new friends wherever he goes. Whether he’s running around, playing with his toys, or curling up for a well-deserved nap, Reef is always excited to be part of the fun. True to his breed, Reef is bright and will flourish in a family that provides plenty of mental stimulation, daily exercise, and ongoing training. He is already making great strides in house and crate training. As with any young puppy, his forever family will need to continue building on that foundation with patience and consistency. While all his siblings have found their futures, sweet Reef remains patiently on the lookout for his perfect match. He will be neutered, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, and will receive a veterinary health certificate prior to adoption.
