About Junie
Meet Junie, our delightful little girl! She was rescued as a tiny stray puppy found by a Good Samaritan on the side of the road. At around 6 weeks old, she weighed just 8 pounds. Now, she’s settled comfortably with one of our fantastic fosters, who is helping her grow into a loving companion. Junie appears to be a mixed breed, likely part Black Labrador Retriever, boasting a beautiful, shiny black coat that sparkles in the sun. She enjoys the company of other dogs but can be a bit shy around new people, though she’s improving daily. With consistent love and care, she will thrive in a new home. Currently, Junie is up to date on her vaccinations, has passed her fecal test, and is on preventive medications for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. She’ll also be microchipped before adoption. Anticipated to be a medium-sized dog as she matures, she weighs about 10 pounds as of June 1st. Junie is still learning about house training; patience is key with puppies! If you’re prepared for the responsibility and joy that comes with adopting a puppy, we encourage you to submit your application. The adoption fee is $200, which also includes a reimbursement after spaying. Let’s give Junie the forever home she deserves! Your new best friend is just one click away.
