About Tidden
Meet Tidden! Who needs a weighted blanket when you have Tidden, your future emotional support cat? He’s an impressive 18 pounds of love, always ready to join you for your favorite shows or to cozy up while you read. This affectionate guy enjoys being near you, but he's also independent and comfortable doing his own thing when the mood strikes. Tidden arrived at our rescue when his previous family had to move and couldn’t take him along. After six years of love and attention, he’s on the lookout for a new family willing to offer the same warmth. He thrives in a low-stress environment where he can claim his favorite spot on the back of the couch and set his own schedule for cuddles, meals, and playtime to work towards a healthier weight. While he loves affection, he’ll let you know if he’s ready for it. When he settles into his new home, expect Tidden to seek out cozy hideaways, likely exploring at night. Easy access to a litter box is important, and having a second box with routine cleaning will make him happy. As for other pets, Tidden has lived harmoniously with cats previously, though he has some behaviors that might need attention in multi-cat households. Personality matches and gradual introductions are key to easing his transition. He’s also lived with a small dog and may do well with a calm, respectful canine friend. Tidden has experience with children and would likely fit in well with respectful kids. Ready to welcome Tidden into your family? Click apply to start the adoption process.
