About Lady
Meet Lady, a gentle soul who needs a special home to thrive. Life has been tough for her, and while she’s made incredible strides toward confidence, she remains nervous about the outside world. A calm and quiet environment is essential for Lady’s development. She requires a very patient adopter, ideally one experienced with shy dogs, to help her continue progressing. Lady is about four years old and weighs around 37 pounds. This sweet girl won’t need long walks; a quick 5-minute outing is just fine. She enjoys a warm bed, a full belly, and a peaceful space to rest, preferably with a friendly canine companion. Her future home should be in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced yard, as city life is too overwhelming for her. Because Lady can be fearful, she deserves a household without young children; a nurturing adult-only home is best. To create a safe environment, her new family will need to allow her to choose when she’s ready to socialize. She gets along well with other dogs, which will help her settle in. If you live in DC, MD, or NoVa and are looking to give a soft-hearted pup a chance, Lady could be the perfect fit. Let’s help her find that loving home she deserves!
