About Mochi
Meet Mochi, a smart and affectionate girl ready to find her forever family. At about 3.5 years old, she thrives on learning, exploring, and being with her loved ones. Mochi enjoys sniffing adventures, solving food puzzles, and cozy naps under blankets, and she loves chewing on her favorite Nylabones. This playful pup already knows an impressive range of cues and is both crate and house trained. Using positive reinforcement training, she truly shines. Mochi is quite people-oriented, eagerly meeting new friends, especially when introductions are handled thoughtfully. Currently residing with another dog, she enjoys wrestling and snuggling with canine companions she knows well. However, she can be selective about sharing high-value resources, so introductions should be made carefully, and feeding should always be managed separately. Mochi would also be perfectly content as the only dog, soaking up all of the affection. She seeks an active, adult-only home that can provide plenty of enrichment and daily walks. This spirited pup would excel in scent work, trick training, or other dog sports—she loves having a job. A calm environment with a commitment to her positive reinforcement training will help her flourish. Mochi is still working on feeling comfortable around unfamiliar dogs on leash and settling around visitors, so a home without infants or toddlers would be ideal for her.
