Artemis is a small, male domestic short hair kitten who is already altered. He has been fully litter trained since joining the rescue and has always kept his space clean. Currently residing in Sacramento, CA, he is bursting with energy, ready to explore and play. This friendly companion is waiting to find a forever home to share his playful spirit.

About Artemis

Artemis joined the rescue after being brought in by the public on May 24, 2026, alongside his sister. He was fostered starting June 18, recovering from an Upper Respiratory Infection but is now back to full energy. This lively little guy thrives on playtime, darting around and pouncing on toys, especially enjoying string toys, feather sticks, and small mice, while he plays happily with his sister. Though he’s not a big cuddler, Artemis loves being picked up and petted, quickly purring in delight. He has always used the litter box reliably, showing no accidents, and maintains a clean space wherever he goes. So far, he’s only known life with his sister and three adults and has no experience with dogs or children. Artemis is ready to bring a fun, active presence to a new loving home.
